The Country Connector for Public & Private Sector in Health (CCPSH) is a World Health Organization–convened initiative that helps countries strengthen health systems by improving governance, partnerships, and engagement between public and private sectors. It supports universal health coverage, health security, and system resilience.
The CCPSH provides a global platform for sharing experiences, setting norms, and offering guidance on mixed health system governance. Its goal is to better align private sector contributions with national health priorities, accelerate progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and improve equity and health outcomes.
The initiative is led by the World Health Organization and supported by national, regional, and global partners, including governments, NGOs, and technical experts.
CCPSH operates through three main streams:
Countries can submit requests via the “Contact Us” page. Requests are reviewed for alignment with national needs, and support is co-designed with in-country stakeholders.
Yes. All tools, case studies, research reports, and webinars are open-access and free to download unless otherwise specified.
CCPSH emphasizes governance, accountability, transparency, and regulation to ensure private sector engagement aligns with public health goals and protects equity, quality, and public trust.

No. While much of CCPSH’s work is in LMICs, its governance principles apply globally, including in high-income countries with significant private sector roles.
