This webinar will draw on the findings from implementation research around patterns of care seeking and provision in these settings, and the unique contextual barriers that influence each. Jacaranda's team will share direct learnings from their experiences working with a coalition of local private partners within two Nairobi-based informal settlements: from exploring the social determinants of where and how women seek care in the fragmented health systems, to determining what support the receiving facilities - both public and private - need to offer quality, timely support to these women. Underpinning both, is the focus on technology and data-driven approaches to solving contextual MNCH challenges at scale in these settings. The session will culminate in a stimulating moderated Q&A, providing an opportunity to learn from each other about challenges, successes, and opportunities to further engage the private sector for health systems improvement.
